The Rolling Stones Live Tour 2013 Tickets
Since their formation in 1962, The Rolling Stones have consistently been one of the world’s most popular rock bands. Despite experiencing a number of bumps in their nearly 50 years, Rolling Stones tickets and albums continue to be highly sought-after. Their last outing was in 2007, and after five years they are back for four performances in November and December. In addition, Keith Richards has hinted that there are more to come in 2013.

Rolling Stones Tickets
This ticket is from The Rolling Stones concert at JFK Stadium in Philly back on Sept 25th 1981. Back when general admission was the way to go, all seats to this concert were general admission. Which meant if you got in first, you get get as close to the stage as you wanted. There were no seats on the floor, which was a large grassy football field used to play the Army/Navy game on once a year, it may even have been the Eagles practice field too. So for $15.75 you could go see the Stones.
Funny story of how I still have a whole ticket when I did see the show. Well there was a group of us, about 10 people, we were camping out at the stadium complex for the weekend as the stones were doing 2 shows. So I parked my station wagon down the lakes in the field and thats where we stayed and partied while we waited for the shows and after the shows. I remember having a keg of beer in the back of my car and of course plenty of smokables going around all day and night. This is when concerts were wild, you could light a joint anywhere and not be bothered by anyone.
So back to the story, we were up at the stadium waitng to get in but we didn’t have enough tickets. We were walking around the outside of JFK stadium, when we see this guy over by one of the large gates, reaching in trying to unlock it, when all of a sudden the gate flys open and there was a mad rush to get in the stadium. At least a hundred people ran in all at once and we all followed them in. I remember the guard grabbed me as I ran in then he just let me go and we were in. So even though I had a ticket, I got in for free, and I got to keep my whole ticket.
Once inside we made our way onto the field and found the rest of our group. We had a nice spot on the field, not too far from the stage. It was early so we partied for the next 4 or 5 hours before the show started. What a great time it was. I have pictures somewhere and if and when I find them I will post a couple of them here.
Every Rolling Stones concert I have been to has been a blast. If you go to one of their shows you will never forget it.
